Handling Politically Tense Conversations with Your Board

What do you do when a board member’s politics suddenly seem counter to your very mission?

In this private, facilitated roundtable discussion exclusively for nonprofit leaders, you will:

  • Hear directly from our CEO about the best approaches to political divides with board members

  • Learn how other nonprofit EDs stood up to board members - and the positive and negative results they dealt with

  • Discuss with peers how they have dealt with politically tense conversations in professional settings

As always, our Nonprofit Executive Roundtables are open to Executive Directors and other senior nonprofit staff who have organization-wide responsibilities.

We’ll meet promptly at 12pm ESTvia Zoom, have a few moments to introduce ourselves and meet each other, and provide 3 insights from our work at Chantilly Mediation and Facilitation. Then we have open discussion before wrapping up on time.

These roundtables are private, non-recorded sessions, limited to no more than 12 participants. They are free to participate. Registration is required. If you register and cannot participate, notes will be sent out within 24 hours.
